The Bloods had a poor performance against the Dogs last week to drop a game that may have an affect on their finals hopes, while the Double Blues had a fright in the back half of the game against the Tigers but still got the points...

Season is shot, time to play some kids. Get Durdin and and flick Hartlett, might at least push him up the draft order. Snelling is a young kid who can find the footy and tackles like a machine, play him too.
Mickan needs to have something to hang his ha to this year and it is not his gameplan, results or development of kids at this stage of year.

Let's hope he does that at Westies, because he refused to do it at the Bay.

Well done to West on a good win today.
Lots of Sturt supporters there today.
Fair few of them are dickheads.

Well done Westies, better kicking/marking game won out in the end. We could have stolen it if not for two bad set shots late in the last 1/4.
As for the comment re Sturt supporters, I'm not sure at what part of the oval it's directed to. I saw some issues from afar at the northern end possibly involving people in the Sturt cheer Squad.
However, on the western wing there was a scuffle that evolved from an elderly West supporter calling Richard Tambling a Black ...... after an on field altercation. A sturt supporter questioned his comments and a scuffle ensued. Bit of push and shove, nothing in it. WESLO was advised at which the West supporter again called Tambling a Black ......
A one off. Good day at the footy, reasonable turnout from both supporter groups.
Sturt need to change a few things up if we want to be serious come finals....if we make it.

Good win. Jumped them early and our first quarter was the difference in the end. Webb and Beech both dangerous up forward. Definitely like it when Beech plays more forward and less midfield, he is Porplyzia-like up there. Our mids got on top in second half, however it took Sturt missing some gettable shots on goal for us to hold on. Still a long way off where we need to be, but a win is a win.

By far the worst comments came from a small group of supporters about 15m away from the cheer squad with all the flags. This group are a disgrace and I believe that one of them is a former on field volunteer maybe that is why they are no longer involved with the club anymore
Back to the game James McLeay's days as a league footballer are almost over. A number of times he was caught out and had no pace to chase his opponent. Poor first term by Sturt made it difficult for the remainder of the match

Did anybody happen to see Hartlett's 'alleged' strike of a spectator?

West Adelaide defender Adam Hartlett has had a charge of misconduct referred directly to the SANFL Tribunal after an incident with a spectator at City Mazda Stadium on Saturday.
It is alleged Hartlett pushed a spectator during the third term of the clash against Sturt, with the SANFL’s Incident Review Panel determining the incident must be ‘’referred directly to the SANFL tribunal for determination in accordance with SANFL Tribunal Rules.’’
Hartlett, who has four matches from previous suspensions on his record, will have prior convictions taken into account by the SANFL Tribunal.
The matter will be heard at Adelaide Oval from 5.30pm on Tuesday.

Really thought that Schmidt would have had to front the tribunal this week too. Laid a very big hip and shoulder on an unsuspecting Sturt player about 20m off the ball. Possibly it was so far off the ball that the camera missed it. Certainly don't need our best midfielder doing dumb things like that. Didn't see the Hartlett one, so won't comment on that one. Didn't like the fact that he gave away a free off the ball that lead to their first goal, but he certainly had the better of Coad on the day.

It was shown on Talking Footy tonight. Hartlett double fisted the sturt supporter to the head through the fence as he was going to pick up the ball from the gutter.

The hero thought the fence was going to save him.

The supporter should have shut his mouth. At 3/4 time the SCS thought they were tuff by trying to have a go at Hartlett, the quicker this cheer squad is gone the better for the Sturt Club.

Since when should supporters shut their mouth ? Make for a quiet game. Maybe the player should shut his ears. It's footy and the crowd have always had a go at players and not many players are stupid enough to get involved physically.
