First game for points for the dogs and Norwood coming off a fighting win against the blues.
Their have been some spirited encounters in the last few years between these two and am expecting the same.
Centrals trial form has been good and the latter part of last year was much better than the start.
Great chance for Centrals to post a win against the reigning premier.
Centrals by three goals.

Got president lunch tickets through work which include a 2.5 hour drink package
Then off to my cricket club for end of year presentations which include free drinks due to premiership win
The football is a mere interruption in what will be a huge messy disgraceful day

Bigger ground Centrals will have the edge in leg speed I feel. Will tip them at home by 3 goals.

Were Norwood that convincing last week? A more accurate Sturt might have overhauled them in the final qtr. Putting your foot back on the gas is far more difficult than taking if off. Centrals at home will be a good chance to see how much they really have improved this year. Most of the league captains choice to make the 5 and who am I to argue with that?
Centrals by less than 3 goals.

PLENTY of room for improvement for the Legs based on Thursdays game mate. You never know how it would have played out, but Im confident we would still have had their measure on the night.

Agree. We had a heap more of the ball but burned it a lot too, the defense still looked to have it under control for the most part. It will be interesting to see how the defense copes on a bigger oval - hopefully for us the disposals are a bit more precise and we won't have it coming in there as often.

Yeah our disposal was "off" in the early part of last season too, so hopefully we can tidy it up a bit sooner this season and avoid a repeat of the slow start. With games at Central, Woodville then Adelaide Oval v Port, that Round 1 win was crucial for us IMHO.

We seem to be starting the season much fitter than last year. Hopeful, but realistic for the season. Some decent skilled recruits, who appear to be adhering to Roys message after a few experienced guys leaving who didn't want to.
Despite home ground and size advantage, still can't see our inexperienced line up getting past the premier$ who already have a game under their belt.

Agree, I reckon the dogs will make the 5 this year
But
First up for an inexperienced line up against the best team in the comp with a game under their belt already is a step to far just yet
