I guess Clint lasted until Round 2, so that's something.

From SANFL website

Glenelg veteran Clint Alleway has been offered a one-match ban with an early guilty plea for tripping Sturt’s James Battersby at Peter Motley Oval on Saturday.

Alleway, who booted six goals against the Double Blues, was handed a base sanction of two matches by the SANFL’s Incident Review Panel but can cut this penalty in half should he accept by 9am on Tuesday.

Clint Alleway (Glenelg)
Conduct – Intentional
Impact – Low
Contact – Body

Bad Record - Increase Base sanction by one level (Alleway had a three match penalty in 2014)
Base Sanction – Two matches
Early Plea – One match

Adelaide utility James Podsiadly has been offered a reprimand and a $200 fine with an early guilty plea for striking North Adelaide’s Toby Schulz at Prospect Oval on Saturday.
The Geelong premiership player, who is under an injury cloud with a back ailment, will be available to play against West on Friday night should he accept by 9am on Tuesday.

Freaking Glenelg sniper! ;)

Fair response to Pods effort too. Thanks for the 50 m and certain goal, you were my favourite Cats player for a while and you looked after my team

If the lad at work is correct Pods has more than a back ailment!
His brother is one of the Crows top up players and was told he may have a couple of broken verterbrae. Scans not done yet but fearing the worst

Was really inconspicuos too as he was throwing his weight around more than North players were at him, suggestions are he may have done it earlier in the game then tweaked something as there was no contact when he went down.
Felt sorry for him, ex AFL premiership forward being forced to play down back completely out of his comfort zone and gave us heaps of goals.

Yeah, you are right...

He 'kicked' the legs out of his opponent, who tripped over as a result...

Glad Alleway got done for that, pretty ugly and gutless act.

Not entirely sure of the rules but I thought Podsiadly got off a bit light with that. Took a fair old swing at a much smaller bloke. He was ruffing up the North fowards all day especially Ryswyck who was battered a couple of times.

Sums up Alleway. Having said that, he's one the few remaining opposition players that manages to stir a bit of feeling out of me. I'm sure i'm not alone there.

It's a shame really because apart from that he looked pretty good last week. The Bays will miss his forward presence this week
