New Reality TV show: SANFL Changing Rooms

The show where SANFL teams of the noughties briefly display the attire of their 90's counterparts...
CENTRALS=PORT
Centrals, now gunning for a fourth straight flag are the Port of the noughties. Even their minor round form is distinctly Port like. Start off ok, go missing in the middle of the year and then come home with a rush as soon as people write them off. Come finals time this Bulldog is a tougher breed.
EAGLES=CENTRALS
A great side all year but get a bit wobbly once September arrives. Occasionaly knocks off the top dogs but when it's a big game this hasn't happened yet so far this decade. If they can jag a flag this decade they will be equivalent of a Norwood, North or even Eagles of old for winning a flag against the Port flow.
NORTH=NORWOOD
On paper the Rooster/Redlegs look like they should perform better than they end up doing and at the end of each year there is plenty of head scratching to be done in the boardroom. Play some great footy but appear to have a missing ingredient when it comes to premiership success. The chooks are no doubt getting that 'Craigy' feeling about them at this time of year.
SOUTH=SOUTH
South are just South. Have been for four decades. More often than not they are missing from the big time but every now and then bob up in the finals. The Panters at their best are an exciting unit today but at times the teamwork is awry. The time to rewrite Panther history is now.
PORT=WEST
Todays Magpies are more like the honest battlers of Richmond rather than the 'power'house they once were. Regularly missing finals and not doing a lot when they do make it, Port, like West before them rely on indvidual brilliance and the absence of certain players can really hurt while plenty of others are just treading Port river water.
GLENELG=GLENELG
Here is another cat that hasn't really changed it's spots during this decade. The Tiges of the nineties had more success in terms of finals but you get the feeling that the Tigers' time in the wilderness might soon be over. Now a candidate for finals football rather than the spoon, you get the feeling that the Yabs time might be drawing near.
NORWOOD=NORTH
The Legs, like the Chooks before them a decade ago, were strong at the start of the decade and have gradually fallen away towards the bottom part of the ladder. It seems a long time ago now that finals appearances for the Legs was once a given, now it seems light years away as the club has donned inconsistency as it's mantle. If only the Legs of this decade had snaffled a flag like the Chooks did back in 91.
STURT=EAGLES
The Double Blues emerged from the awful nineties to break the Doggie dominance of the competition but now the players who took them there have now departed Unley. Like the Eagles before them, the Blues might have to wait for a few seasons before they can return to September action.
WEST=STURT
While West of this decade are not the dire proposition that the Blues were in the 90's, they are probably the best fit for this unwanted jacket. West have slipped from Grand Finalists to also-rans with a mighty thump, taking over from Norwood as the worst team in the comp two years ago. Just how long the Bloods remain in the caboose is yet to be seen.
