SOUTH
South Adelaide forward Peter Rolfe is expected to miss the rest of the season after seriously injuring his knee against the Eagles last Monday.
Rolfe, who landed awkwardly in the fourth term after a marking contest, is the Panthers’ only confirmed omission for Sunday’s clash with Glenelg at Hickinbotham Oval.
The 26-year-old ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, the same knee he had reconstructed in 2013.
Former West Adelaide speedster Matt Rankine has earned a recall to the back pocket while key position utility Sam Overall and Tyson Brown have been named on the extended interchange bench.
Midfielder Brent Macleod will play his 50th league match for the Panthers, who are celebrating the 20th anniversary of playing home games at Noarlunga.
League
F: Veide, Eddy, Liddle
HF: Seccull, Ross, Macleod
C: Gulden, Murphy, Rose

B: Giddings, Crabb, Rankine

GLENELG
Glenelg has resisted the temptation to include experienced pair Sam Lonergan and Warrick McGinty for its contest against South at Hickinbotham Oval on Sunday.
Lonergan, who is restricted by a groin ailment, will rest for another week after being a late withdrawal for the Tigers’ match against North last Monday.
McGinty, who hasn’t played since fracturing his cheekbone in Round 5, will resume against the Panthers in the Reserves.
The Tigers have recalled versatile pair Bryce Woolard and Ben Nason to the extended interchange bench, which must be trimmed by two before the bounce.
League

HB: Bradley, Agnew, Howard
B: Curran, Galley, Nicholson
R: Carter, C. Pitt, Snook

Obviously need a win and have to start kicking some winning scores. 20 year anniversary of first Noarlunga match so hopefully a decent crowd gets along, Bay fans generally travel well to Artic Park.
Would have liked to see Haren have a run in the twos, but noticed he's been named in the 18. Kicked 4 in Round 1 against the Bays so perhaps that saved him.
South to continue their run of wins against the Bays and prevail by 3 goals.

Pity Rolfe's injured - the karma bus will have to stay in the shed until next time...

Pity you're not the Crows or Eagles, it would be the 21st year anniversary then!

Bay's by 7. Was actually a pretty good game in Round 1. Hopefully another decent contest.

South gone backwards this year or should I say returned to the usual south.
Bays to win South can't kick a score at the moment and some very lucky players keep getting league games.
Expect poor crowd any resurgence south generated last season is just a faint memory.

Have a good feeling about this one! Yes I know we beat a club going even worse than we are last week, but I think the win will do wonders for a young team who apart from the West Adelaide debacle have played some pretty good Football in patches. South are shaky at the moment and not even close to playing the brand of Football that took them to a prelim last year.
Glenelg in a close one! Looking forward to heading down to Noarlunga on a day that isn't looking too bad.

Lose this and we are in all sorts of strife !
Not that happy with some of the team selections or the way we are playing at present. Forward line is pretty much non existent and we handball way too much !!!!
Bay's will definitely be up and about so any thoughts that "we have this won" in the players mentality will back fire on us.
South by 2 goals but think that's my heart tipping that !

Yep pretty good. Coached by former Magery medallist Brett Backwell. Couple of good players coming back from injury as well. Who's your mate?

I thought both games were crackers. The Bay's aren't that bad, My god are they young tho. South probably just a touch more class in the end, as the bay's burnt the footy a fair bit.
Thought for South #15, #9 and #36 were very good and for the bay's #11 did as he pleased best on the ground for mine #20 was pretty good and I liked number 3 as well. No idea of there names
Some huge hits as I sat right down at boundary level. Felt like good old fashion footy if that makes sense.

How old is Tim
Late 20's
Yes it's Tim Aliosi, His 27 the idiot should've done it 6 years ago. His mates with Clint Allaway through the greyhounds he was going to go out and train with them at the start of the year and never did apparently they were that sort they just needed numbers to play this week before the bye hence him getting the call Friday night!
