R10 West v Port @ Richmond

WEST
West Adelaide midfielder James Ezard will miss Saturday’s clash against Port at City Mazda Stadium with a shoulder injury.
The Magarey Medallist, who has consistently battled shoulder ailments throughout his career, is hopeful of returning in Round 11.
‘’It’s not as bad as he’s had in the past,’’ West football manager Andrew Marks said.
‘’Having the week off this week, we are hopeful he will be OK after the bye (split round).’’
Ruckman Peter Nelson couldn’t be considered after accepting a one-match ban for striking Norwood’s Mat Suckling last Sunday.
Key defender Ben Klemke could make his league debut after being named on the extended interchange bench with fellow inclusions Graeme Hampton and Oliver Johnson.
Klemke (23, 193cm and 92kg) previously played at national Under-18 level with NSW/ACT before playing in the NEAFL with Queanbeyan en route to being captain/coach for Wodonga last year.
‘’He’s big and strong and his strength is in the air with his spoiling and intercept marks,’’ Marks said.
Fos Williams Medallist Tom Keough will return from the ankle ailment which kept him out of last Sunday’s loss to Norwood at The Parade.
