SOUTH
South Adelaide is a strong chance to go in unchanged against Adelaide at Hickinbotham Oval on Saturday.
With his side coming off last round’s impressive victory against Sturt at Unley, Panthers coach Brad Gotch has included key position utility Sam Overall and Encounter Bay product Ben Heaslip in his 23-man squad.
But there is a strong possibility Gotch could take in the same 21 which went a long way toward securing a finals berth against the Double Blues last Saturday.
Two players must be trimmed from the five-man extended interchange bench before the bounce.

Adelaide coach Heath Younie has been forced to deal with a swag of changes ahead of his team’s clash with South at Hickinbotham Oval on Saturday.
Midfielders Jarryd Lyons, Rory Atkins, Riley Knight and Brodie Martin have all been called upon for AFL duty, as have defenders Ricky Henderson and Jake Lever.
Star on-baller Brad Crouch is to miss the next 6-8 weeks with foot soreness while Jack Osborn accepted a one-match ban for striking Port’s John Butcher last Sunday at Alberton.
In return, plucky backman Jake Kelly returns from the AFL line-up to be named at centre-half back.
Development players Josh Wittwer, Sam Pfeiffer, Tynan Lindsay, Matt Wilson, Nick Mott, Ben O’Donohue, Dylan Schoenmakers and Dylan Ribbons have all been added to the 22-man squad.

The SANFL wishes to express its sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Phil Walsh.

A great football person, Phil endeared himself to South Australians initially as a champion on the field and then with his outstanding work as a coach for the Port Adelaide and Adelaide Football Clubs.

Following a request from both of Adelaide’s AFL Clubs, the SANFL can confirm it is postponing the following two matches scheduled for tomorrow;

South Adelaide versus Adelaide - Hickinbotham Oval
North Adelaide versus Port Adelaide - Prospect Oval

These matches will be rescheduled for Round 17 which is a split round.

All players in tomorrow’s three other SANFL matches will wear black armbands, as will all players taking part in the MAC Country Championships being held this weekend at Port Augusta.

A minutes silence will also be observed at all matches.

The SANFL will be making no further comment at this stage.
