CENTRAL

Central District’s internal competition for spots continues to heat up ahead of Saturday’s blockbuster with West at Playford Alive Oval.
Ruckman Jacob Olsson and midfielder Jackson Potter have been added to the Bulldogs’ 23-man squad with both players joining in-form Caleb Edmead and Justin Hoskin on the extended interchange bench.
The Bulldogs still have former North Melbourne ruckman Ben Mabon playing in the Reserves while promising forward Wayne Milera will also resume in the seconds after playing in the league team earlier this year.

WEST
West Adelaide has been boosted by the return Travis Tuck and Ryan Willits for Saturday’s clash with Central at Playford Alive Oval.
Tuck has served his one-match ban for striking Eagle Scott Lewis while Willits rested last week after being diagnosed with concussion in Round 12.
Midfielder Nick Homburg has been recalled to the extended interchange bench after a strong showing in the Reserves while former Tiger Riley Milne has been named at centre-half forward.
Josh Schiller, arguably the most improved player in the SANFL this year, is sidelined by a minor ankle ailment while Richard Newell was dropped.
‘’He rolled it toward the end of the game against Glenelg on Saturday,’’ West football manager Andrew Marks said of Schiller.
‘’I wouldn’t expect him to miss any longer than a week.’’

West to make it real hard for the Dogs to have any chance of playing finals, 2-3 goals

Another frustrating game by Central. Silly turnovers cost us the game in the end. However I was very surprised we got within 2 goals given Retzlaff and Stephenson were out. They are probably the two most important players for our structure.

Great to see the Reserves get their first win.

2 games plus percentage behind South.
Can't see them making it from here.

South have Norwood (h), Eagles (A), Crows (h), West (h), Port (A), Centrals (h)
Centrals have North (a), Port (a), Sturt (h), Glenelg (h), South (a).
Probably will come down to the last minor round game

Centrals should win three of those four leading up to the last match, while I wouldn't pencil in anything for us. Our three home games will be our best chances but still all difficult assignments. Depends who we get in the AFL roulette against the Crows and we've taken it up to Norwood and West this year.

Would have thought had Centrals beaten West yesterday then they'd definitely be in the box seat.
