West got a belting in the last quarter against the Crows possibles last week while Sturt were good all day.

Winning form is good form so its Sturt by 2 goals.

West by 8-10 goals, just a small hiccup last weekend

West and Sturt both back on a level SANFL playing field after last week's AFL interruptions.
I think West will be too good for the DB's and I would hope, unaffected by lasts week's loss.
Westies by 30-35 points.

This is going to be a close game. Couple of kicks in it either way.

Happened to be watching some footy up at Waikerie on Saturday and Brad Helbig was playing for the local magpies. What had his form been like for Westies this year? Fair change of scenery from Punt Rd to local footy within 12 months.

West by 19 if wet and 37 if mainly dry. If going to be a contender they should win comfortably.

Believe he only played there because the reserves had a bye and he was coming back from injury

Ok, makes sense.

Former Hawthorn listed player Amos Frank also played. Looked a class above country level and if the commitment/interest was there would be a very handy SANFL footballer.

WEST

West Adelaide has named a settled line-up for its contest against Sturt at City Mazda Stadium on Saturday.
Seeking to respond after last Sunday’s 63-point loss to Adelaide, the Bloods have included ruckman Ryan Willits and possible debutant Riley Bonner in their 23-man squad.
Willits rested last weekend while the Bloods’ reserves had the bye while Bonner – an All-Australian Under-18 – logged a strong performance in the Macca’s Cup.
A neat-kicking defender, Bonner – from the Goodwood Saints – measures in at 191cm and 79kg.
The left-footer collected 29 disposals, six tackles, nine inside 50s, four clearances and a goal in his team’s comfortable win against Sturt last round.
West’s strong-looking side is emphasised by Magarey Medallist James Ezard and former Richmond midfielder Brad Helbig playing in the Reserves.

Was worried about this one. Westies had some good results this year. Lucky to have beaten them at Unley when we did.
Hopefully Mickan can improve his finals record. I mean it's not like that's going to bother us this year.
