STURT
Sturt has listed three possible debutants for Sunday’s contest against Central at Peter Motley Oval.
Ruckman Andre Parrella (204cm and 100kg), forward Henry Carey (180cm and 78kg) and former Magpie Brad Coulson (183cm and 78kg) have all been included on the five-man extended interchange bench for the Double Blues.
Former Crow Aidan Riley will miss at least a fortnight after undergoing knee surgery, ensuring Sturt’s midfield will be understrength against the Bulldogs.
Mature-age Sean Samblich has been sent back to the Reserves with two more players to be trimmed before the bounce.

CENTRAL
Central District has included senior stars Jarrod Schiller and Kyle Jenner for Sunday’s match against Sturt at Peter Motley Oval.
Both utilities have been named on the extended interchange bench after performing strongly in the Reserves in Round 1.
Schiller racked up 27 disposals and eight clearances while Jenner collected 23 disposals and two goals against the Roosters as they both built valuable match fitness.
The Bulldogs, coming off the bye in Round 2, will look to gain their second victory of the season at Unley after naming a strong-looking 23-man squad.

Centrals take an unnamed team to Sturt that will prove too strong, overrunning the DB's by 35-40 points.

Unley not entirely a happy hunting ground for us, but I expect a win.

I thought our performance at Unley last year was going to define our season, had a red hot go but lacked the polish needed. I was very happy to be proven wrong. I know it's only early but we looked like the polish was there against North. Dogs by 43.

Saw him do some great stuff last year. I think he had a good game v North. Got him mixed up with Penfold at the time, as they look similar and are both goal kickers. I guess he was very damaging if allowed space. Perhaps needs to perform under pressure more in order to take the next step.

Sturt 11:16-82
Central 9:7-61

Beard kicked 3 goals for the Blues. Hone and Greenslade got a couple each.
For the Dogs, Furnell and Hill got a couple each.

Cambridge Clarrie right on the money.

Not that I wanted to hear it but does anyone know why Sturt didn't play their club song after their win today?
