PORT
Port Adelaide coach Chad Cornes has called up Jonathon Ross to assist with the ruck load for Saturday’s do-or-die game against West at Alberton Oval.
With Power-listed Matthew Lobbe set to miss the next 12 weeks with a knee injury, Ross has been included in the 23-man squad to provide support for lead ruckman Billy Frampton.
Ross has been joined in the team by fellow SANFL-contracted players Zac Hawkins, Tom Gray, Jack Cooper and Ciaran Hollingworth-Hughes.
Defender Tom Corcoran will miss the match against the Bloods with a shoulder injury while Karl Amon has been elevated to the club’s AFL squad.

WEST
West Adelaide has been dealt a blow with Adam Hartlett set to miss between 2-3 weeks with a hamstring strain ahead of Saturday’s must-win clash with Port at Alberton.
The former Carlton backman had only just worked his way back to full match fitness after enduring a frustrating pre-season which resulted in him not playing until Round 4.
His absence will be compounded by goalsneak Shannon Green missing through suspension after being found guilty of making forceful front-on contact with Eagle James Boyd on ANZAC Day.
Speedy Murray Bushrangers recruit Murray Waite has again been named on the extended interchange bench, along with midfielder Nick Favretto.
Backman Ben Klemke will replace Hartlett in a key defensive post while experienced pair Taite Silverlock and Daniel Caire have both been named in the 18 to start on the ground against the Magpies.
Chris Burgess is the other certain exclusion after being sent back to the Reserves.

From what I can work out 10 of the Magpies are AFL listed players, but of these 10, 6 are yet to play an AFL game. I reckon West, esp with the wet weather are a huge show to cover the 30 point line.

Westies have lost four games by more than 70 points,
The other game they lost by 45.
The odds are spot on.

West Adelaide wouldn't beat Tea Tree Gully at the moment.
Today was a joke.
Port missing their Captain, no interchange at 3 qtr time and they still out scored us in the last.
We are the North Adelaide of 2015, except they actually won a game!!!
We won't.

West had 19 more Inside 50's, so is it just the forward line that is disfunctional?

Yes, and no, many of them were shallow entries. The amount of times they got just inside 50 and made a meal of it was clear as day.
