NORTH
North Adelaide coach Josh Carr could take an unchanged line-up into Sunday’s huge clash with Adelaide at Prospect Oval.
For the first time this season, the Roosters may take the same 21 into the next match after accounting for Glenelg by 33 points in Round 6.
Carr has added two players – versatile tall Sam Wundke and young midfielder Billy Lloyd – to his 23-man squad to tackle the Crows.
They have joined a five-man interchange bench which includes Lewis Hender, Michael Virgin and Maris Olekalns, who all contributed to the win against the Tigers.

ADELAIDE
Adelaide’s midfield rotation has been weakened due to the absence of Brad Crouch in Sunday’s match against North at Prospect Oval.
After racking up 36 disposals and 10 tackles in his SANFL return last round, Crouch has earned a call up from AFL coach Don Pyke.
He has been joined out of the side by running defender Ricky Henderson, who could play his first AFL match of the year.
Former Carlton goalsneak Troy Menzel returns after suffering concussion against Glenelg in Round 5 while Jarryd Lyons has been sent back from the AFL.
Development players Matthew Spencely, Matthew Johncock and Josh Wittwer have all been added to the extended interchange bench.
Ex-Glenelg defender Scott Spriggs has been squeezed out of the 21 which lost to South Adelaide by one point last Sunday.

Interested to see how the improving Chooks stack up against the professionalism of the POSAs, who have a couple of of big outs (and a couple of good ins). Particularly since North have been a hard at the body and strong tacking outfit this year (largely), and the opposition are known for a 'bruise-free' approach.

My tip: Younie to cop a serve.

Lock up your supporters, North; The Ravens are coming to town.

I might stay home. Don't want to upset their coach again by saying well done. It's lucky he's not a chef or waiter.

Might as well be, his job involves taking Don Pyke's orders.

I reckon the Crows' fitness will be too much, so Crows to win, giving Younie an extra smug look on his face.

Our president will enjoy the game, if no one else.

Don't forget the game's at the traditional AFL reserves time of 1:10pm, perfectly timed to interfere with your Mother's Day commitments.

wait, what? i was honestly considering breaking my drought and seeing if the wifey wanted to go to the game (she is a crows fan sadly.....dont blame me, we got married before they became such a blight on our league) but i highly doubt she would want to go at lunch time.

what in the hell are they trying to avoid with that scheduling? dont the crows play saturday?

Here is how I think it works.

Early AFL game on Mothers Day Sunday is a timeslot no AFL club wants due to clash with fans having lunch with Mum.

So this year AFL has rejigged the Mothers Day round schedule putting 6 games on Saturday and only 2 on Sunday both starting later afternoon / twighlight. (Normally it is 5/3)

So Seven now has a no-AFL TV hole to fill early on ...... hey how about putting in our SANFL broadcast game here?

1.10pm start is so it can finish in time for AFL coverage to kick in at 4pm.

I'll be missing my first Prospect game by choice for years, don't want to be seen as supporting the cancer in the SANFL. Might travel 45 mins to see south tomorrow instead of 5 mins to see North on Sunday .

I'm pretty sure this is exactly what the NAFC said when they reminded supporters that it's an early game.

Come on Cocks!
I don't rate your chances. If the top club can only beat them by a point with the final kick of the day, after throwing everything at them, then you'll probably go down by about 7 goals.
I would love to see you do it though.

The moon will have more atmosphere than this game. Given that it might also be wet, I reckon we might get a sub-one thousand attendance, and I'm not sure the last time Prospect would've had such a low crowd. Good thing our pokies are there to paper over the fact we will probably make a loss for the day.

Agreed.
Sadly because of the Crows plus TV plus Mother's Day and the time of the game = a very poor crowd for the home club.
To me the roosters in with a rough chance, but need another tall.
Game should have been played today, forget the TV cover.

I know a lot of people that won't be there tomorrow because it's the Cows. Missing my first game for the season despite having nothing else on and living 10 mins away.
