STURT
Sturt forward Ben Hansen has been recalled for Saturday’s match against West Adelaide at Peter Motley Oval.
Hansen has built form and fitness in the Reserves after recovering from a minor thigh strain, culminating in him booting five goals last round against Central.
Versatile utility Jarrod Lienert has been named on the wing while AFL Academy member Steven Slimming could play his first IGA League match after being named on the five-man interchange bench.
Unley Jets product Slimming, a member of the McDonald’s SA Under-18 team this year, measures in at 182cm and 73kg.
Former Magpie Brad Coulson has been sent back to the Reserves.

WEST
West Adelaide has regained premiership players Aaron Fielke and Errin Wasley-Black for the clash against Sturt at Peter Motley Oval on Saturday.
Small forward Fielke has overcome a calf strain which occurred during the warm-up of the Bloods’ Round 14 loss to the Eagles.
Half-back Wasley-Black has recovered from a hamstring strain which has sidelined him since Round 10.
Edwardstown junior Jack Evans will finally make his debut after being named in a back pocket.
Evans, who measures in at 180cm and 75kg, has been regularly named on the Bloods’ extended interchange bench this year, only to be trimmed before the bounce.
But the 21-year-old is a confirmed starter against the Double Blues, who are seeking to maintain top position on the ladder.
Running defender Chris Burgess has been forced out with a calf ailment while key defender Adam Hartlett, who this week announced his retirement at season’s end, was unable to be considered due to a calf injury.
Premiership half-back Logan Hill will play his 100th IGA League match after making his debut in 2008.

I understand there's a thin chance Slimming will make the final 22.

The skinny is he won't have to weight for his chance to play. Either way, he's bound to cop some ribbing.

I think West will be in for a weighty loss. Lean times for the bloods.

Twelve months ago that tip would be off the scales. But this season I'm inclined to bulimia.

Interesting selection, a narrow victory and very slender margin. Knocking off the top side would be the joule in the crown.

Rough call. Level of interest and posts in all other areas seem really high. The SANFL games this year have shown a massive reduction in interest and comments. Think that is a reflection of the whole competition more than this site! People on here are true SANFL, and even they can't be bothered posting anymore, the comp will be dead by 2020!

Doesn't matter what happens in the SANFL , some people will just never have a sense of humour.

Yes, it would take a unit of energy from the Bloods. Hard to tell Watt will happen...
