Good to see the skipper and Hitchcock back in the side. Haines has been playing some good footy in the twos and deserves a crack. Irra has struggled since his foot injury, well short of his early season form.

Can West upset the Panthers? Will the attendance reach four figures?

Massive crowd for this one!
If the weathers even mildly good they'll get around 600 to this one.

Come on mate, I'm betting 605 at least! Probably edging 620 if they can get a bouncy castle and free face painting for the kids.

If we play for percentage we will lose. Need to respect the opposition (where its due) and play to win the game not win by a margin. With westies having nothing to lose, they may take the game on and cause an upset. I seem to recall them doing that to us about four years ago as well as 100 point plus flogging.

South 21.10 (136)
West 6.5 (41)

Eddy 7, Rankine 2, Seccull 2, ten others with a goal.
No multiples for the Bloods.

Couldn't make the game, caught the second half on the stream and it was one way traffic. Handy % boost against a dreadful side.

South's biggest win (margin wise) since 2006.

South v Sturt next Sunday should be a beauty.

No sympathy, they voted the afl in for recruiting penalties to be lifted.

South 21x6+10 = 136 ?

Good thing South played to win, and not for percentage...

Yeah I understand people's thoughts here but at what expense?
The SANFL is already irrelevant in a lot of people's eyes.

Better to die fighting for a principle than to bend over and offer up, but hey maybe one day the "4,000 will turn up

It's going slowly but surely just the way the Gayfl would prefer, reaching a point where without integrity and genuine support, SANFL footy can be
acquired and rebranded to their own conditions and timetable!
Where is the Leadership and vision for the sanfl?
Why don't the SANFL develop new revenue opportunities for the 8 clubs it should be looking out for?
Because the comp is now Gayfl in disguise and things like tradition ,history, heartland/ zones etc. mean zero to the corporate whores!
Those responsible should be given no quarter for their treachery.
