Young (17, 197cm and 92kg) is a tall forward from the Mitcham Hawks, who played for the McDonald’s SA Under-18 team this year.

NORTH
Retiring North Adelaide midfielder Cohen Thiele will have his chance to farewell the Roosters faithful against Sturt at Peter Motley Oval on Sunday.
The consistent wingman, who has played 112 IGA League matches for North since making his debut in 2008, has been elevated from the Reserves after collecting 28 disposals and nine marks last Saturday.
‘’Cohen’s earned his call up to the League team after a strong performance last weekend,’’ North football manager Darryl Wintle said.
‘’He’s provided outstanding service to the club and we wish him all the best in the future.’’
The 27-year-old, who announced his retirement earlier this month due to a series of calf and back injuries, is playing his first IGA League game since Round 9 this year.
Originally from Loxton, Thiele has been joined in the Roosters’ squad of 23 by experienced on-baller Jay Shannon and running defender Michael Virgin.

No, but he goes in hard...

Well then he might lay a few ... tackles, if he gets in front of goals he could pop a cherry if he unloads right. There could be a case of nerves, I don't care what people say about North, it's always good to see a good young Cock going at it for the first time, but if he shoots from the pocket he could get a behind, he'll have to watch the wind, then he'll have to come again before he finally scores, and we just don't know what kind of shooter he's got yet. Has anyone seen the size of his screwie? I guess it is his first time so we'll learn all about it as he performs. I just hope it doesn't dribble off his boot. That would be real embarrassing! Just imagine the anti-climax as he sizes up for a huge screwie and it just dribbles on the ground in front of him? Perhaps a few of the old Cocks could show him how it's done in the change rooms before he blows it in front of the crowd? Stage fright could see the poor fella shrink, and if he can't get up, Virgin might have to wait another week before he finally scores. Probably needs a good rub before going into the tunnel, then he'll show some spunk. As a Sturt fan, I'll be hoping he sprays it EVERY TIME, we don't want him coming down our end, that would be too painful. After only one win in a month people might think that we are the Bloods, so I hope Saturday will be our period and young Virgin doesn't get to score!
GO YOU BLUES!!!!

LOL match of the week according to the Advertiser. I don't think I'd bother going if it was the other side of my road.

Lol indeed. If this game was playing in my backyard, I'd probably go to the kitchen window and close the curtains.

Sturt should win this one comfortably and sharpen their teeth for the finals, although the heart says North and it'd be great if Cohen 'Bieber' Thiele could jag a win in his swansong.

Can't actually watch the game, as I am working, but the screen shot of the live feed shows a fair smattering of fans in the outer pocket. Usually, when it looks like that the crowd will be about 2,250. That estimate is based only on what I can see of the crowd in the northern outer pocket, so the scope of variation there could be a 1000 either side.
