It looked palltry on TV.

9000 showed up.

Wow. Surely it can't get any worse.
17k over the past 2 weeks.
Not that long ago we had 17k at one round of finals

I predict that the official crowd figure will be identical for both games. Oh, and very paltry too..

I don't recall ever seeing separate crowd figures for finals for as long as we've had double headers; if we have, I can't find them recorded anywhere. Crowd was just over 9k. Slightly down on the same week last year, and last week's was slightly up on the same week last year-so we are are tracking pretty much even with last year's finals so far.

That's true, but numbers don't tell the story, as anyone with ears and eyes will attest to.

If one considers the crowd participation for each of the early games it will be abundantly clear that the atmosphere was considerably down on previous seasons. Pity Crows supporters refuse to 'share the pride', or their presence for that matter, with the SANFL.
