Hannath and Butcher offering some height around the ground. Couple of good ins for them.

Already had a young list as well another year bigger and stronger in the system. I think Josh Glenn will be a huge in for the Dogs.

Think they might go well this season.

Yeah I agree Sturt Centrals and Norwood and the 2 afl teams with the rest just making up the numbers

Agreed on that mix of final 5 into 2017.
Norwood look hot to me.
Can't see North South Glenelg West having enough upside, including goal scoring potential to challenge those 5 over 18 games.
The Eagles may be arount the mark.

TBH after last season the only way West can go is up. No injuries and a solid pre season can see a West back in finals

Pretty bold making predictions this time of year, but good discussion nonetheless.
Power have some good ins with their rookie draft plunder.
Crows should be around the mark again.
Central seem to have good news only.
Norwood likewise with some handy ins.
Sturt have some good recruits but have also lost Leinert, who just got better and better as last year progressed, and Marti.
I reckon the Eagles will be around the mark. I know there's a lot of bad news from Oval ave atm, but they always seem to be there in the end.
I expect Westies to bounce back.
South perhaps missed their window this year.
North have potential.
Glenelg will be Glenelg.

Neither are they...

They are looking to add another recruit with some grunt and speed...

Chris Jansen is a real accumulator and is clearly a very good player, having won the B&F this year, but is a little one-paced, for mine...

Travis Schiller is a very good in and under player but did struggle at times to cope with the heavier tags he was getting after a brilliant 2015...

His brother Jarrod did play some game time through there but he is better in defence, in my opinion, as he proved late in the year after injury...

Nick Holman showed some good signs, with arrogance, inside grunt and ball winning abilities, but he was simply too inconsistent in his first year...

Josh Glenn replaces Elliot Kavanagh on a wing and off half back a little bit, if they were perhaps look at giving Luke Barmby a crack in the midfield...

I think one more hard-nosed inside mid would round out the Dogs recruiting quite well...

Time will tell, I guess...

I'm hearing that due to some new rule the SANFL has invoked, new Norwood recruit Tyson Lever will now play for the Ravens in 2017

I'd be surprised if that were the case, although I shouldn't be with the cloak and daggers the club always plays. Will have to do some digging.

I'd also be surprised, given benefactors of Blass, Pickard, Cooper and the Liberal Party. Nothing to do with yesterday's salary cap talk? I thought duldig was implying that it was lower leagues? Apologise off topic.

Pretty certain it's not related to that mate, I get the feeling the club is shit scared of any further infractions so it shouldn't be an issue

I should change that from NFC in financial strife to having some major cash flow issues ATM.
