Why a bye for Sturt and eagles?
Collingwood and Essendon are playing!
I guess it has been tough on them playing 3 games.

Sides have multiple BYE's through out a season, why not give the sides who played Tuesday the following weekend off rather than making them play a side that has had 3 or even 4 more days break than them?

If the Eagles and Sturt played this week they'd have to play Sunday, that would be against teams that played last Saturday.

4 days off vs 7 days off. Can't do it.

Sturt played its second round match after a 5 day break vs the Bays who were coming off a 7 day break. Maybe we could make Sturt play this Friday night, bare foot and wearing mittens? If they look like they are doing well we could reduce their interchange? It's got potential.

A few thousand Port fans plus the guaranteed 4,000 Crows fans should mean easily 6-7k there

Why is the SANFL's money that they pay to get TV coverage on Channel 7 being used to televise a Crows Reserves vs Power Reserves game?

North would be dissapointed if they didn't beat west at home.

Will the bays bounce back at home? Jury is out.

How will the ravens come up? Port should smash them.

Norwood in a tight night game (as usual)

Probably the battle of the eventual wooden spoon at Prospect. Hoping for a leave pass but as the missus's son and grand daughter are flying in that morning immigrating here I might be hard pressed, bless the video pass if I can't though. Mind you as our little house will be full I might need to get out!

I think Westies have both hands on the spoon already.
North will flog them.

Injuries on top of players lost. I agree.

It's very frustrating. I think with our best side on the park, we would have been competitive this year.
Unfortunately it's looking like a similar year to last.

Dual Mail Medallist Rigby Barnes is the only certain exclusion at this stage due to a groin complaint, with two more to be trimmed before the bounce.

Former Magpie Ben Haren will play his 50th SANFL Macca’s League match.

ADELAIDE

Adelaide has included five players for its SANFL Showdown against Port at Maughan Thiem Hyundai Oval on Saturday.

AFL-listed trio Harrison Wigg, Tom Doedee and Jordan Gallucci all return, with the latter pair overcoming minor injuries.

Development players Tyson Lever and Mitchell Minns have been named on the five-man extended interchange bench.

Ruckman Reilly O’Brien has been called up to the AFL squad along with first-year player Myles Poholke while Kurt Waterman was squeezed out of the 23-man squad.

The injection of four AFL-listed players – Matt Lobbe, Angus Monfries, Nathan Krakouer and Cam Hewett – has forced the omission of Luke Reynolds while Jesse Palmer has been called up by Power coach Ken Hinkley.

The talented utility has been named on the extended interchange bench for the Bays, together with key defender Max Proud and strongly-built midfielder Elliot Chalmers.

NORTH

The long wait for Ben Darrou to make his SANFL Macca’s League debut is almost over.

After playing just 16 Reserves games for South Adelaide in the past two years due to injury, the North Adelaide key defender is set to play his first League match for the Roosters against West on Saturday.

The former Richmond rookie (23, 191cm and 96kg) joined North during summer seeking a fresh start and now has his opportunity after being named at full back by coach Josh Carr.

He has been joined in the Roosters’ 23-man squad by Blake Helyar, who has been named on the five-man extended interchange bench.
