True but you go into a match against South with more confidence then you would against the Eagles.

Dogs all over the Bays, some dumb decision making going into the forward line has cost 3-4 goals.

Finally got some system going and put a team to the sword. Effort was good all day, decision making going into the forward line so-so. What I liked most was when we were under the pump around half back or the wing we didn't stuff around with it, we booted it as far forward as we could to a contest. Perfect example was Sam Milne in the 3rd quarter, hacked the ball forward 25 metres and gave away a free when it went out of bounds but gave us a chance to man up. We manned up, put pressure on and forced a turnover that resulted in a goal. Butch must stink, no bugger seems to want to kick the ball to him! Bays were disgraceful in the last quarter. Psycho's goal from the boundary in the last quarter was the icing on the cake.

F*** that for a joke.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Not at all, we were close to knocking off the Eagles a few weeks back, last year a dodgy umpiring decision cost us the game at Woodville (only time I can recall 1 decision costing us a game), we haven't gone close to South for years, today was massive!!

Football was clearly the winner yesterday, hopefully West can add to that today.

Pleasantly surprised by West's efforts in the ruck yesterday esp third quarter when we got many centre clearances and his 2 goals were a bonus.
Nick Hayes led up well to get 4 and Johansen played another good one and has been solid all year. Lewis would have to be leading the B & F at this stage, another great game yesterday. Backline was outstanding against a very tall Power forward line. Best Eags effort since the last win against Power.

I was pleased with West's game yesterday and two goals bonus
Think the talk amongst Eagles fans yesterday at oval ave time to play two rucks
Very surprised that's the fourth time in 2017 the eagles have come from behind at 1/2 time to win
But another major injury Rowntrees knee again
Boyd we thought was knocked out in the third Port player almost took Boyds head off he was laying on the ground on the ball looked knocked out left the ground at 3/4 time thought for the day but came back on for the fourth

Great win by an undermanned and down on the bench Eagles
Port thought they'd be a harder side to beat by half time Port players look disinterested

South were comically bad at times. Gifted North goals through abysmal skills and decision making in the back-lines and didn't run hard enough. The first instinct for any South player who takes possession along half back is to look backwards. Terrible to watch.

Rose, Liddle were ok, while young Haines keeps improving.

Watched the second half of the twos. Steam rolled the Roosters with direct, skillful footy.

Two weeks ago South had the chance to put the Eagles away but were too intent on defence and didn't get far enough ahead, left the door slightly ajar and the Eagles swooped. South must get more attacking minded when they have a team down.

Hocking needs to go his game plan is terrible. Last year we were the highest scoring team in the comp and although we have lost Eddy we kept everyone else in the squad.
