Isn't the pink section the car park for the licenced club?

The no parking red is the future townhouse development...

I wonder what colour Snout's Hill is on the Holdfast Bay council maps...

Presumably station wagons, thanks to the ability to park cars around the oval.

Are the cops going to release some pipe-hittin' crims out onto the oval? One way to alleviate the pressures in the jail system I suppose, and make way for a new coach (thus creating local jobs) at the same time.

Dogs generally don't handle windy conditions well at the best of times - South win my prediction.
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

Sturt kicking with a 3-4 goal wind at Unley, hate to think how strong it would be at Noarlunga!

1/4 time

SA 3.0
CD 2.4

Dogs had the 3-4 goal wind to the southern end, but as Ben Haren showed by booting one from 45-50 out it's possible to score at either end.

Redigolo stretchered off early on, possible concussion.

Sturt by 11 and WWT by 14 in the other games.

Good effort by North kicking one goal with the breeze on a small oval and allowing 5.

1/2 time

SA 9.4
CD 2.5

Impressive term with the wind from the locals. Haren with 3 goals, while debutant Szust kicked 2 for the quarter. Schwarz's 65-70m bomb from a set shot another highlight.

Dogs intent on niggling and have been very ordinary obviously.

Sturt by 34 and WWT by 31 elsewhere.

3/4 time

SA 12.4
CD 4.8

Again outscored the dogs into the wind. Veide kicked a couple of goals in his first game back after a knee reco. Overall and Redigolo done for the day due to injury. Need to bury the Dogs in the final term and build some much needed %.

SA 13.5
CD 5.11

Dogs had the better of the final term, but a much improved effort from South. Tackled well and move the footy more directly in the tricky conditions. Haren, Liddle, Crabb, a returning Gulden, Schwarz among the best, while Szust showed a bit of promise on debut. Kicked 7.16 in near perfect weather last week, 13.5 today in less than ideal conditions.

Sturt win by 36 and WWT by 45.
