That would be very surprising to say the least.

Will not be cheap. Has met with at least five SANFL clubs.

I understand that Glenelg (like West and South) have a small increase on last seasons spend available (SANFL imposed) but recruiting will be diifficult.

A quality person, Simon Phillips. One evening four years ago, about an hour and a half after the end of a Sturt vs Norwood (which we'd been pumped in!) League match at Unley, I ventured down into the opposition rooms to see what the state of the rooms were in and there was Simon Phillips, by himself, no-one else around, picking up all the tape/rubbish off the floor! I said, "Mate. You don't have to do that!" "Go and celebrate the win with your mates." He said, "No. It should be left as we found it." Stuck with me. Clearly a quality human being.

Not sure whether to read anything in to it or not, but Dom's recent social media activity has seen him 'like' the North Adelaide Football Club's Facebook page.

I think you can read into it BP.

There will be the usual flurry after the drafts of next week.

As Im sure is the case at most clubs, there's a pretty strong connection between the players and trainers at Norwood, so good to hear they're respectful of their changeroom area regardless of venue. From the young ratbag when he arrived, Flip put in extra time and worked hard at improving his game. Delivered in plenty of big moments for the club, so will be long remembered by the faithful.

Of course he was going to improve, got to look inside how a great club runs for a while there.

Before he sent several daggers through their hearts in the 2014 finals series (remember that weekend both your teams lost by under a goal?), worked out well

South Adelaide can reveal that ruckman Keegan Brooksby will pursue an AFL opportunity in 2019.

Brooksby's management has informed the club that he has been offered another chance at the AFL via the newly revamped rookie rules.

Previously-listed AFL players who have spent a season or greater away from an AFL list no longer need to be selected through the draft to find an AFL lifeline.

These players can now sign with a club of their choice during the pre-season supplemental selection period (SPP) between December 1 and March 15.

This will be Brooksby's second crack at the AFL, having played 14 games with the Gold Coast Suns between 2015 and 2017.

The Panthers skipper enjoyed a stellar 2018 SANFL season, playing all 19 games, finishing second in Knuckey Cup voting and being selected as captain of the 2018 Advertiser Team of the Year.

"It is very exciting for Keegan to get another chance to prove himself at the highest level," said Panthers Chief Executive Officer, Neill Sharpe.

"He is an outstanding player and his form over the last season speaks for itself.

"He certainly deserves this opportunity and we wish him well in the next phase of his AFL career."

He's a very good player. The Suns destroyed him like may players.
