I know we won at Woodville last year and it always a bonus to beat The Eagles there.
Going to be very tough again for us this week The Eagles are always hard to beat
we played good footy against North but got the feeling we will need to go to
another level to win.

When WWT finally decided to kick the ball instead of over handballing throughout the 1st half, they showed the difference in class between them and a very up for it Wessies. Their Port recruits looked very handy and Lukosius looks like he will give a few.
Centrals were only playing North so it’s hard to tell if they’ve improved or not.

I’ll go WWT by 15-20 points

Jackson Hately wont turn 18 until after the season. It was his debut on Saturday; will be definite draft pick, so we will have to make the most of him this season! Pretty handy Basketballer and Soccer player also.

I suspect there is an Under 18 fixture which is deemed as essential for the States top lads to be involved. In which case Lukosius from the Eagles will also be sidelined from this clash, as well as Rankine from Westies.
I know, I know... what a surprise to see the SANFL bending over for their superiors.

Why cant SANFL clubs refuse to allow their players to play in a junior comp over playing league. After all the clubs pay the player wages.

I think it's hard to argue against kids playing in this competition.
After all, as SANFL supporters we all get shirty if a College team refuses our clubs access to a player.
This is a higher opportunity for these lads and one we should probably be embracing as, surely, we all want them to have the best opportunities they can, don't we?

Reckon the Iggles will get over the line for this one. Should be an interesting match.

Very good second half... Brendan Dew also had a good game and might be a chance for his first league game in 10 months.

He and Cooper Dahms were very impressive in their debuts on friday.

Possible Replacements : Luke Habel Brendan Dew or new recruit Mahoney.

Against The Eagles we need a big bodied mid fielder Mahoney our best option
if we go that way
