if we go that way

I'm hoping Mahoney can step up and show he's good enough at this level but unfortunately so far I haven't seen him do that.
Only early days I know,it just looks like he's always a step behind the play.

I was very surprised we beat the eagles late last year as we've struggled to play 4 qtrs at Woodville for a while now.
I'd love to see us win but I'm thinking the wiggles by 4 goals.

Luko a definite out for the Eags. Hall with a fitness test. Quite liked Boyd on the wing against West though. Lewis to probably return through the ressies. Expect both Hayes boys to play up forward with rucks changing there as well. Haylock V.Gd against West and will be interesting to see if he keeps this up against a physical CD side.

Centrals taking an unchanged line-up into the game, with the exception of Hately, who is off at the AFL Academy with Lukosius.

Not to sound like a broken record, but Eagles are getting their usual run from the umpires. Probably why they choke in finals, the umpires put their whistles away.

An abhorrenly shitful first half snuffed out any chance of winning. Got what we deserved. Didn't mind Barreau's second half, the kid can play. How fu***n fat is Jarrad Redden, he looks like Thurman Merman from Bad Santa. That is all.

Pretty even well into time on in the first. Cracked open to almost seven goal gap well before time-on in the second, three of those inside the first five minutes after the first break, and one in so called "junk time" in the first.

Playing catch-up after opponents got post-break jumps on us were a feature of a few of our matches last season, including (IIRC) the loss to the eventual Premiers in the 1st Semi. The jump more than comfortably accounted for the gap today.

Good first quarter by the Eags, exceptional 2nd quarter and completely outplayed by Central in the second half.
