Pure Ladder 2018

Postby Pseudo » Sun Apr 08, 2018 8:25 pm

Welcome to the fifth year of occupation.

After a pure opening round, this week's fixture was contaminated with trial games. We therefore resurrect the Pure Ladder (tm), by which the followers of sovereign SANFL teams can gauge how their mob performs against other dinkum teams.

Code: Select all
Ladder to round 2:
.............P...W...D.....F......A......%
Eagles.......2...2...0....166.....99....62.64
North........2...1...0....219....142....60.66
Norwood......2...1...0....151....122....55.31
Sturt........1...1...0.....69.....57....54.76
Central......2...1...0....163....135....54.70
South........2...1...0....145....148....49.49
Glenelg......1...0...0.....54.....92....36.99
West.........2...0...0.....78....250....23.78
Clowns OUT. Smears OUT. RESIST THE OCCUPATION.

Great idea. The Troll Cup could be the curtain-raisers.

If the Pure Ladder is bait then yep it was me, but surely you don't believe that.

You seem to spend time posting in these threads? Like a fly to flypaper, for a quick troll.
I’m not questioning your right to do that, it is an open forum after all. I just find it odd why you’d bother. I have little or no interest in the AFL, so I don’t bother with that forum or the threads in there.

I notice with digust that as of 'lunch time' 10/04/18 there are still no results for
rounds 1 & 2 on sanfl.com.au in any grade. If you scroll down they've finally bothered
to put up the premiership ladder, but still no scores from the various games so far played.
2 bleedin' weeks into the season and still nothing?

Is this just further proof of the SANFL's disregard for their own league? Or is it just another
unprofessional oversight? I've left a message on their recorded service as they haven't got
the decency to answer their own phones.

What's that old saying about ..... "Couldn't run an effin' bath?"

Luv,
Sabre.

They've been there for me the second the games finished, just looked and they're all still there. :?
Are you using Netscape Navigator on a Commodore 64 or something?

Not only are all the scores there, there is also a full wrap of Round 2 including latest injuries, tribunal hearings and weekly nominations ahead of Round 3 this weekend.

Not to mention a comprehensive stats report on the five games over the weekend

Surprise surprise Port won the free kick count on Friday night.

The more things change...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Hold the phone boys & girls !
The various scores are just starting to come up now. Maybe they had to flick some kind of formatting
switch so peddle powered p.c.'s like my dinosaur could access all the screen details.
Funny how the scores bar was blank for me for 2 weeks and has only now started to work following a 'pointed' phone call.
May this service long continue without prodding. Maybe it pays to whinge. You know, the squeaky wheel and all that.
