Sometimes the team who wants it more finds a way to win. Well done Westies.

For those records & stats minded, yesterday's 8.15 (63) was West's lowest winning score versus Centrals, overwriting their 9.10 (64) vs 7.14 (56) at Elizabeth in R17, 1969.

Earlier today,
All my troubles seemed so far away,
Now because of an arsehole named Stray
They're here to stay

That was the very reason why I rarely go to the footy anymore.

Disgraceful from the Dogs.
Lacked gumption and were insipid.
Although we lead throughout the first half, the signs were there early. When Westies went forward very few were chasing back - the first two Bloods' goals were a prime example. We were lazy.

I can't add much to what others have said.

Well done, Goody. Well done, Haydos. That contest was tremendously brave and characteristic of the honest effort he gives every week. He gave us the only reason to cheer in the last half.

And, no, I didn't 'get on' the odds. **** it.

Central went inside their forward 50 on only 33 occasions.

Barely went in at all in the last quarter. It was pathetic.

Almost sound like you've been a bit spoiled and can't handle some tough times.

Bloke, as you may or may not know, I've been going since I was about 6, 54 now. I've been thrown out of every suburban ground, arrested at Footy Park (for blowing a bloody horn, for crying out loud) & have witnessed some huge thrashings, mostly by the Magpies (RIP).
The reason I hardly go now is because of the style of the game, it's boring garbage, everyone runs down one end, scramble scramble scramble, then everyone rushes back to the other end.

Well, if you've been watching for 48 years you'd know the style changes all the time and this is just another incarnation of the game that will come and go like every other one has.

You must have great pride in your eviction and arrest count.
