Good on them.
We are talking about the game and the promotion.
Success.
The SANFL followers and falling attendances are the clubs most serious challenge.
INHO most clubs are not doing enough in promotion of their home games.

We are talking about the promotion but how many of us are taking about going because of the promotion.

It is one thing to create awareness but another to inspire a call to action.

While I think this is a great attempt to make people aware of the game it's hardly going to make people pay their hard earned because of the promotion. I hope next time the marketing team find a way to inspire people through the gates

I dont get the OP's point when he says considering their history. The history of the club, particularly the crowd in the 70's and 80's reflects the British immigrants throughout the 50's, 60's and 70's. Why do you think the area was called Elizabeth?

Putting aside my opinion that the Westminster constitutional monarchy is the most stable and democratic form of government so far devised, the club marketing people have obviously listened to those who make up the club and understand the sentiment. Well done on them.

The Americans seem to be enjoying the build up to the event also. http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/celebrity-life/royals/royal-weddings/americans-go-royal-wedding-mad-with-days-until-big-day/news-story/74799a551f932f33a2c081010d89458e

A call to action, inspire people through the gates? What are you talking about?

What do you want from the marketing department? Keep in mind giveaways etc cost money so discount them.

If the game itself isn't enough to get you through the gate then some gimmicky garbage isn't going to either. This has done exactly what it was designed to do and that's get people talking about the football.

Damned if they do....

I don't mind the attempt it's betting than doing nothing

Has it got us talking about the game

Not one post on here is about the game

All talk is about whether they like a promotion or not nothing about the game

Just getting people to 'talk about a promotion' is 1990's marketing

While most of us hardened criminals have a laugh and scoff at it....I reckon good on centrals for running with a 'theme'for the day. Maybe other clubs need to look at having a bit of fun.
