South way too good today.
Too much pressure, bodies were bigger, good, fast hands around the contests, ice forward movement capped off with some tough marks both forward and in defence. They looked pretty well switched on in all facets.
I hear they had a few back from injury today. I dare say if they can keep this form going it might be a North v South Grand Final.
Not sure if THAT has ever happened, I might need one of the stats gurus to check that out. Off the top of my head, South's last Grand Final was v Port in '79, or have they had one since?

A couple of the Sturt lads were down on form, goal kicking was sometimes crap, and the extra pressure from South had us second guessing and giving bad disposal.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

I watched the last 1/4 on digital. Both team impressive in play. I bet Sturt would have loved Wilson in . Played well for Adelaide.

Not sure if THAT has ever happenned.

It certainly has happened before. In both 1900 and 1902 North beat South. Remember that up until the year 2000 one of Port, Norwood, North or Sturt played in every Grand Final .

I may be wrong but I don't know that South has ever beaten North in a final.

In my lifetime I can only recall North and South playing against each other in 4 finals; 1966, 1983, 1990 and 1991.

You can add the 2006 Semi Final. Jarman v Pyman in the coaches box. Both clubs played some very attacking/exciting footy that year.

Forgot about that game. Must be too recent. That was a great game. North came from behind atc3/4 time to win.

Even though North made the Grand Final in 2007 they played their best football in the Jarman era in 2006.
