Central could hand a Macca’s League lifeline to a former Sturt and Port Adelaide utility against Glenelg on Saturday.

James Watt has been included on the four-man extended interchange bench after crossing to the Bulldogs three weeks ago in search of more League opportunities.

After playing well in the Reserves, the 28-year-old has earned a call up to the Bulldogs’ 22-man squad.

Forward John Butcher will play his 100th Macca’s League game after playing his first 68 with Port Adelaide.

I'd be more than happy with that, with Butch kicking 7. Goals that is.

Back to the match, that Glenelg side named has plenty of talent & is strong enough to win tomorrow.

Be more than happy to buy you a can Spargo, I'm at the northern end every home game wearing my best thongs.

Correct weight.

The 'Dogs to win today on home turf, I'll tip 21 points.

That said, GMcG ("64 points", 5th post down) has been pretty close over recent weeks, and the 'Dogs have tended to win well against Glenelg out here over the last decade.

Definitely a game for the diehards, the standard is questionable at best as is the umpiring (both ways).

I'm not angry, just disappointed. Had a chat to Straydog, a genuinely good bloke, apologies to him for not being a bit more coherent but I'd had a few at that stage.

The game itself had few highlights, I reckon we might have pinched one despite not being the better team on the day.

I didn’t need to hear that...
I was following it on my phone & noticed we got a rushed behind then the siren pretty much went. Could we have won it at the death?
