No. Sorry but I am not going to name them as it's not fair to the players and I don't want to embarrass them.

I have looked at our playing list and the number of players allegedly not returning next year is 12. What I will say is that 3 of them are obvious as they are teenagers and liable to be drafted, if not they will be playing with us again.

The Evil Empire down Port Road is very interested in one of our mature age players.

Other than the potential draftees they are aged in their mid to late twenties.

They all wear guernsey numbers less than 50.

PM please.

I am merely repeating what a player said in a private 3 way conversation after player presentations after the last game of the year. He indicated he wouldn't be fronting up next season and named other players that wouldn't continue as well. I chose not to name names but I counted the names he said and it was about 10 and in my opinion they are 10 of our top 30 - 35 players.

Yep... a private 2 way chat that you were permitted to join... private. Get that part at all?

Didn't get it Northerner.....have heard elsewhere that a few are leaving.
With recruiting being so difficult as we've all been told you'd have to be concerned.

Yes I do get it now Northerner. I don't know what to say. I have REALLY stuffed up on this. I sincerely and deeply apologise to you and the player concerned.

It won't happen again and I won't be commenting on this matter in future.

We should lose 3 young lads in the draft,
also Port want Fort.
Others to leave will be the typical lads with no intestinal fortitude these days, will go to the ammos for more money & less training.

Next season sounds promising already.
We seem to be having the same problem every year, losing too many and gaining next to nothing.
