What happened?

What does it mean for the board?

Any Westies fans want to fill in the gaps please?

Changes voted in, new “group” take charge after AGM in February and two voted in board members decided then (I think that’s correct)

Less than 200 people voted in totally with a 83.6% yes vote, needed over 75% to make the change

What does all this mean ? Obviously changes to the Board and only 200 voted . I assume they have swept out old thinking like the President and a few more ?

Only a handful but why wont West supporters reply ?Is this a good thing for your club ? I haven't heard positive things about the board and Pres.

The current board and President have improved the club finances let to them by years of apparent mismanagement

Many other things need to be rectified IMO to make the club stable b

SANFL wanted these changes, all clubs are being asked to run under this model I believe (same as Sturts model).

Was disappointing that only 200 voted, including players but it is what it is. I was in favour of the changes, targeting professionals to help rather than any random who may not have the skill set to help but perhaps just end up being a ‘yes man’. These are good people who just love the club.

. It’s ok to have a different point of view or opinion that’s healthy for a board or committee

Interesting that David Grenvold has moved on so soon. From afar it seemed like he was doing a reasonable job.
