are the 8 SANFL clubs receiving $500,000 per annum from the sale of Footy Park?
If so, does the Eagles profit include that dividend?

Looks like the club included $275,000 from SANFL Stadium Divestment in this years Annual Report and expect the following in future years: $275k in Oct 2019, $300k in 2020, $350k in 2021, $300k in 2022. I guess it stops in 2022?

Club also transferred $300k from the Eagles Club to WWTFC, which is what its for, but still a lot of income needed from outside sources to keep the footy going.

That's the way I read it. Take all that out and its a struggle.

North Adelaide is in the red – despite breaking a 27-year SANFL premiership drought in September.
The club posted a loss for 2018, recording a deficit of $80,754 in its annual report, released last month.

This follows six consecutive years of profits, including $122,453 in 2017.
Chief executive Greg Edwards insisted the Roosters were in good shape but one-off captial expenses and licensed venue difficulties affected the bottom line.
Edwards said North’s Main North Rd venue, Northern Tavern at Regency Plaza, struggled after the shopping centre’s main tenants, Woolworths, left and a large area of the site was demolished and redeveloped.

“It’s pretty well known that the Northern Tavern has been under redevelopment and we’ve had six to 12 months of pain with it,” Edwards said.
“The Grand North was also below budget but mainly due to government gaming regulations brought in during the year.
“From a footy club point of view we had a really good year, though.
“Winning the grand final obviously always helps, but even before that we were up in members and attendances from the year before. So the footy club is actually tracking really well.
“Thank God, we went through to the grand final because that probably covered up a few holes for us.
“We’re working through the pain towards the light at the end of the tunnel.”
The Roosters stormed to a stunning grand final victory over Norwood on the back of a the “19th man” saga in the preliminary final against Woodville-West Torrens.
Edwards said the club’s finances had also been affected by a range of “one-off capital expenses” in 2018, totalling about $300,000.
It included new solar panels, signage, audio system and a picket fence around Prospect Oval.
The club’s debt reduction program has continued to plan, reducing by $139,198 to leave the Roosters $1.67m in arrears.

I thought it was a 275k payment for 7 years and had to be used to reduce debt. Not sure where 500k came from. Regardless of that , clubs with little support will struggle. Look at The Eagles record since they merged . Its very good but like you say take the payment away and .........???Same for South and West. Its time to get behind all clubs and support them. Dont whinge about the SANFL or AFL Reserve teams or whatever . Just support your club and make it stronger .

South appears to have made a $441K surplus (including the footballers club operations), which includes the $275K SANFL divestment fund.

Given the mumblings about the state of their finances that is a good result. Even taking into account the SANFL payment free kick.

Yeah. Fundraising/sponsorship was up $120K, while $50K was cut in admin/office expenses and a further $50K in finance charges.

Net sponsorship/fundraising revenue for South was $532K
Net membership revenue $39K

Imagine these are on the lower end of the scale.

Agreed Booney. I wish the Eagles would do the same. All we need as members is a summary item as presented. The details for those that care are in the body.

Guilty. Been a member since the start of the WWTFC bit never attended a AGM, probably because I live at TTG and its a bit of a drive for someone who enjoys a refreshment while there, The formal AGM does not interest me enough after I read the annual report. This topic started with WWTFC making a $225k profit which on the surface and in real life is great however take out a few donations and my club struggle as I am sure most clubs are doing. I just like thing simplified and the detail not covered up . The Glenelg statement was great IMHO.
