Hate the way on here Port is derided as a reserves club and yet on the AFL forums the 8 other sanfl clubs are referred to as inferior pissant "feeder" clubs.

At the time the fixture was being created, I would imagine that Port would have been given the option of playing their home game against North on Saturday or Sunday, knowing that they would be playing the following Thursday. So ultimately Port would have decided to play this on the Sunday so as to avoid a clash with the Power and maximize attendance, rather than having an extra day's break.
