Still playing that card, seen any AFL this year? Skills are 2nd rate.

Yeah, watched GWS beat Geelong, was a fantastic game!
Skills and depth is so good at AFL level Richmond could beat the Power with their best players out!

The majority are yes, as they have been the last 5 seasons. It's an easy out

WTF happened there. South 35 up in the final term. Bays blew 4-5 opportunities late in the game to win it. South hardly touched it in the final 10 minutes.

Watched the replay of last quarter. South coaches must be tearing their hair out. When they were cruising at 35 points up at 6 minute mark of last quarter, they lost the plot. Gave away some ordinary free kicks and then 25 metre penalties to basically hand the Bays the game. In the end, lucky to get the draw as Bays missed three easy chances to hit the lead. Bizarre ending to the game that's for sure.

Couldn't make it today, good to get points on the board. How did the recruits go Straydog?

Very good performances by Auckland and the Neagle boys. Marsh was serviceable. Great games from Hosko, Menzel, Elvis and Trav. Haydos and Gillard had some excellent moments. Goody led from the front. Cheers
per

Personally I reckon the younger Neagle lad is off the pace. Jydon is very good and uses the ball well.
Matt Neagle played his second game in the reserves after a delayed start to the season and was very impressive. I reckon we might see a Neagle replace a Neagle this week at selection!

North picked up a handful of injuries and a report from yesterdays loss? If they lose Hender, Tropiano and Clisby for Friday's clash then the Dogs might be a chance :)

If Tropiano doesn't play then North will only have 18 on the ground and yes we may be a chance. ;)

North looked in it early, big blokes were on top.

At least you're only one win off bottom.

Couldn't make it today, good to get points on the board I thought. How did the recruits go Straydog?

Yeah, I thought they did their bit without being spectacular. In fairness, my first game back due to work commitments so my eyeballs a bit out of calibration.

Jydon looks to have a bit of mongrel about him. Darcy looks to have settled pretty well in our hoops and I suspect will make his mark as the year goes on. Auckland and Marsh appear quite mobile without quite being in the 'Buckets' mould. Back with us this year, Menzel did okay with a couple.

As for the others, Hosko, Elvis, Gilly, Stephenson and Haydon in the thick of it, Goody will have a solid year at the helm. Harbs went okay, Alfie all heart as usual, Izzy off his best.

In perspective, a low scoring game between two clubs that seemed to struggle a bit with the cross breeze. Both will need to pull their fingers out to have an impact at the pointy end of the season, but early days yet.

It was clear it was broken , did you mean the severity of it as it looked nasty and he was screaming.

Pretty much. Heard from a couple of Bays supporters he was sitting in a car after the game with green whistle firmly in grasp. Why would he not have been at hospital already?

Really impressive win by the magpies. Sanfl having them play again this Thursday against Norwood who get 2 extra days recovery is rather rigged though.

Not sure about rigged, but having 4 days recovery is insane. Yep, some of the Power boys will have a decent fitness base to work from but its a tough schedule.

Well, don't blame us for it. Your club got the ball rolling to force this ridiculous situation!
