Some friendly advice for Jars

Give the media away next year son, and take the coaching role a little more seriously.
We know you want to get a job somewhere in the AFL, but playing the goose in the media will get you nowhere. Start concentrating on winning some finals and leave Choco and Craigy to the stuff they know best winning in the big league.

Is this about anything in particular or just a general observation?

Maybe some more advice should be dont play injured players.(oh thats right he said that after last years finals series, good to see he sticks to his word.)Another bit of advice, could also go to a few other clubs - Money doesnt always buy happiness.

M96 I cant disagree with your post, but I have noticed you made the post
at 6-15 tonight after NA lost, which is below the belt.
I know you are new to the site but say it before they lose next time

Thanks for your concern. May I just say I think its really touching that a supporter of a club that has it's own house in such great order can offer advise to a coach of club like mine that is an absolute shambles both on and off the field.

If they went on and won the flag, then yes, let him write and do what he likes. But when they lose finals time and time again it does look a little stupid when he is telling other coaches abiet AFL ones how to coach.

What do you base that on mal, the two sides in the GF never went on a shopping spree before the season started.

i think centrals did that a few years back but they are by far and away the best team in the comp. they just kid everybody during the year when they have their slumps and it looks like they are gone.

One of them did about 6 years ago and then won 5 flags.
The other side didnt 6 years ago and won 0 flags

The side that got beaten today went shopping 3 years ago when
they were bottom and are now 3rd, and a flag is ominous in the
next few years.

If you cant see these points have a look at todays sunday fail
that talks about wealthier clubs being up the top, and clubs who
are struggling financially are cellar dwellars.

My team Norwood a former SANFL superpower are struggling in recent
times and guess why :?:

didnt they recruit interstate players heavily back in the late 90's, eg gowans brothers etc

Norwood are crap because they cant find a decent coach, got nothing to do with money. We got those players before we had money, being successfull brings in money not the other way around.

Who were the Gowans and the rest of them 6 or 7 years ago,i bet they didnt get offered as much money as some of the players north recruited.

i agree they probably werent on as much cash but they were still recruited from interstate, theres nothing wrong with that because it works and is a proven formula.

i just wish glenelg had recruited quality interstate players

Fair point DOGS01, but they had enough to attract the great players who
have represented your club in recent years.
Norwood are broke , hence we cant attract quality recruits.

So what are North meant to do? They have money and buy players to strengthen their playing stocks. Can somebody....anybody...explain to me why this is so wrong?
