Not sure of Centrals record at Unley of late but I suspect Sturt would have the ledger in their favour.

Sturt by 6 goals

Not great and correct. If we get within 6 I will be surprised. I'll still be attending and hoping I'm wrong though. Connor McLean again misses out on a league berth. What the f***is going on.

Sturt could unleash the son of a Brownlow Medallist against Central on Sunday.

Casey Voss, the son of current Power assistant coach and Brisbane premiership captain Michael Voss, has been named on the extended interchange bench.

The 18-year-old – who measures in at 182cm and 80kg – has spent the majority of his time across half-back at Unley but can also push up into the midfield.

He has been joined in the Double Blues’ 22 by 2016 premiership backman Henry Carey, who has overcome a hamstring strain suffered at training.

I did not end up being surprised. We showed for three quarters we can be a competitive unit when not playing like fu***** witches hats like we did in the 1st quarter. We aren't good enough to regularly beat teams the calibre of Sturt but we can at least fight.

Fish had a great game, Hosko, Fraser Fort worked hard. Dewey did a good run with job in the middle. Special mention to Ryan Llewellyn who I reckon played his 1st seniors game of the year. Worked his arse off all day, under siege for much of it. He was strong in the contest, smothered and shepherded. Lots of one percenters. Whether or not he is quite regular league standard I'm still not sure but he ticked a couple of boxes today. Our gameplan is either non existent or we aren't buying into it.

Indeed, the run to the Pure Minor Premiership (tm) has begun.

I love what Roy has done the club in his time, his record very impressive, but I think its to time move him on and find a new direction. I do admit though player turnover is huge now off season and is probably contributing factor.

The 2017 First Semi Final between Sturt and Centrals was a sensational contest and I thought then if they had gotten past Sturt (they lost by a goal or so) they could have pinched a flag. That was only a couple of years ago but the top end talent isn't there anymore. But yes everyone has a time limit and perhaps it is time for a different approach. No shame in that.
