I thought Norwood disappeared in the GF last year.
Worst and most pathetic effort I have ever seen by a Legs team at Norwood in 60 years.
Tooooooooo many front runners.

Seen plenty of worse efforts at Norwood but yes today was totally unacceptable and 2 weeks in a row we have pretty much given up.
On current form we are a very real chance of wasting another season as I just can’t see where our next win will come from

Long way to go it’s only June, but as much as we were garbage today, credit to the opposition for being pretty bloody good. Ways to go still, we need to find something or we’ll make up the numbers. Over to you lads ...

Only to disappear in the finals once again

Maybe correct although we did not make the GF last year owing to unusual circumstances by 5 points. This year to make the top 5 is going to be hard as the 5th side will require at least 10 probably 11 wins. With the lower sides not causing upsets it will be interesting. The bays and AC appear certainties for finals and the next 5 will challenge for 3 spots.
The Eagles are on a 5 match winning streak and have impressed kicking over 100 point in last 3. We haven't done that in a long time. Under Godden our defense was always solid however our scoring options seam to have improved recently.

Norwood have the most talented squad in the league, fish stinks from the head.

They might have the most talented list if the following players are available :

ABBOTT
BODE
NUNN
PANOS
SMART
STEPHENS
SURMAN
TAHENY
TAHLIA

Would all of these be in the best 21. I am not really familiar with Norwood's best. 4 or 5 of those named are vg. Taheny is U18 state player I think.
All clubs have injuries
The Eagles had Hayes, Toumpas and Kickett (u18s) out o name a few.

They would be, but the contrast in intensity, run and clean use between the two yesterday meant it wouldn’t have mattered.

Good realistic comment. Sometimes it just gets down to attitude.

I did notice Surman running around in the reserves!!!

Think that was Luke’s 2nd or 3rd game back from a fairly lengthy lay off, if he stays healthy he’d have to a certainty to come in for our next game.
