Not sure but he was a great mentor to a few there apparently, had all the right personal skills to make a good coach.

I reckon you can go one before Stewart & say Kerley changed the culture of the club.

I thought Cowboy Neale started the ball rolling on field, he picked them up from the scrap heap and started seeing them use Elizabeth Oval as a stomping ground.

Does anyone know what season “Beware the dogs are coming” became their song after a win?

I reckon it was 1987 - I have a feeling it was premiered by John Swan at the first round match that year against North, where Centrals won by 87 points.

I reckon it all started when Ken Eustice took over.
It just took a while to come to fruition.

Put your money on Jade Sheedy to coach Centrals.

That's right, must be at Cibo having a chat and all the inside info from the top nobodies on this site must have been there too.

Would love a coach from interstate with no preconcieved ideas etc. Would be a great move imo.

If it's who I think it is, he has a long history of coaching/assistant coaching, his resume' is very good.

Would be my guess too.

Would hope whom ever it is can bring some good players with them. We can't compete with other teams in recruiting "big name" recruits.
