SANFL Final

Does anybody here no the rules regarding the Finals and AFL reserve teams ? I cant find it on the SANFL site surprisingly .

I thought it had something to with 17 AFL listed players but is there stipulations about if the AFL franchise is in the finals ?

I recall Port whingeing about that ? Is there a rule about the number of SANFL games they can play before SANFL finals ?

If they are playing (AFL) anyone can play.

Think it is 5 SANFL games if not playing AFL. It was 3 once.

Maximum 16 AFL listed + Wright or 17 AFL Listed without Wright
MOre SANFl than AFL games
3 games after June 30

So next week a few will qualify as it will be the third game after June 30.

Thats the rules if Adelaide are knocked out of the finals. While they are still playing only the first criteria matters. They can play anyone up to 16+Wright. SAme with Port .

You know, I really want to help you out here Brett, but Port has whinged about so many goddamned things since they've been around that it's pointless using that as a clue.

I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

According to one club official I discussed this with, Port and Crows can play 21 AFL listed players (inc leadership player) if their senior side is still alive in the AFL finals

We didn't whinge after winning the 2nd SA AFL licence over a joint Sturt - Norwood venture. Oh the treachery!
