Next games

Postby Brett » Thu Jul 25, 2019 8:28 pm

In response to some peoples comments about my threads regarding the next games. I noticed it went away earlier and I think its good we can chat about different games rather than all crowded into 1 thread . I will say we are all SANFL followers and probably don't rely on this site to see who is playing who at what time and ground. I and i'm sure many do the same, just refer to the SANFL schedule or even just look on the App. Considering it seems an issue for a few , if I add threads I will ensure I include the Oval , date, day and time.

having the date/time/venue in the threads also helps with going back through old games, you know, to win internet arguments.

just a generic north v south or whatever doesnt help narrow down which season, or even which game in the season (back when we used to play some teams 3 times in a year) is even being talked about when searching.

but as others have said, i appreciate the threads being started (even if i dont usually post in them). i honestly couldnt care less who starts them, i just piped up in the other thread when it was insinuated that we were expected to go find that info ourselves, rather than have it all contained in the thread with the discussion about the game, seeing as it is info that is relevant to the game and all, and therefore part of the discussion

Brett, you keep doing what your doing, maybe take a few things on board like the round or date in the title but that's about it.

You keep getting the discussion going. At least your having a go a getting some traffic going.

I'm not sure if your crazy or what but you are an entertaining individual so you just keep doing what your doing.

Ironically I almost went to Norwood Oval today. I blame the SANFL and my dementia, not Brett though.

If the Power and Crows both miss the AFL finals do they forfeit their spot in the sanfl finals?

I'm just sick of all the byes and split round. Bring back the old uneven draw. This must impact the crowds and supporter interest.

I love the bye and split rounds. They are a welcome relief when you lose 9 in a row.
