Seems ridiculous not to hold a post match function/presentation and a slap in the face to those that line the terraces. Also agree the lack of social media activity by the Dogs is disappointing.

I can only really compare it to South, who have been excellent this week (and all year for that matter) in promoting the game and Crabb/Liddle retirements.

Could there be a final twist and Roy has in fact already coached his last game as he doesn't want to finish his career against one of the AFL clubs. One last stand against the SANFL, could explain the lack of promotion and hoo-haa.

Usually like conspiracy theories. Not buying this one. Don't see Roy as a quitter. He will see this through to the very end.

I'm thinking the early tips of a bumper crowd are more likely than the mid-thread suggestions that the lack of presentations will drive people away. Getting a bit of chatter this morning from a range of friends that hardly ever go to games any more organising to come along on this occasion. So about 10+ extras in my small circle. Hope it's the general vibe, will be grand if there's a actually a crowd, instead of the usual "company". Will fire the boys up.

there's a lot of interest being generated now, wouldn't be surprised if there's easily 5,000 in attendance tomorrow.

Gee imagine if it was against the Crows reserves instead of the Power Reserves? You'd get 9000 there!

There, got the SAFooty Daily Double in a single thread:
Crows mentioned in a Power thread,
the 4000 Crows supporters to rock up to all games.

A terrible decison by the club. I have yet to hear Laird doesn't want a fuss but he is certainly getting it regardless. I would have thought he would want the best for the club ? I feel Centrals have missed a big opportunity here to make a few dollars . I feel sorry for the members and supporters that go every week . Have heard a BIG Centrals fan has suggested those not happy to contact Kris Grant . How would that help ? Dont forget your supporters Centrals , they are bigger than one individual. Poorly handled by all involved IMO.

No. You obviously have no idea. I assume you dont comprehend a lot about football and how clubs make money.
Please feel free to pick my comment all apart and I will reply considering your lack of understanding .

Clever reply by the way .

Sad way to go out for Roy. 90 point loss to a side Roy and his club rallied so hard against to prevent their entry

Yeah it's almost like the final nail in the SANFL coffin there with a strike from the AFL sides.

Most of the game we had a dip, ran out of gas and they were far too big. Despite having a bag kicked against him Wyatt Patterson tried his guts out today, the gutless cheap shot Frampton tried on him while he was defenceless on the ground is a fair reflection on his character.

What a PRICK of a season, so glad it is finally over. Today's game typified the whole season, especially when the final quarter went 32 minutes and made us suffer as long as possible to the bitter end.

Perfect example of why there should be no AFL in the S.A.N.F.L..

End of football for the year as far as I'm concerned, zero interest in S.A.N.F.L. finals.

Can wait for next season (not a typo I meant CAN not can't.)

And to the Port morons (supporters and players) thank you for reminding me why I hate your football club so much.

Yes they did. And most were wearing Power colours. WTF?
Not as many as the old days thankfully but quite a few.

Must not have been a big crowd then.

A very disappointing result considering. Any idea of the crowd numbers ?
