Good move by Wright and gutsy too (if correct)

I agree. Abe is a good player but he so often would stand around with his hands on his hips, not a good look.

Yes there certainly is a NDP policy in vogue at South. We got rid of another one this time last year too.
Abe was a very good player ,but had issues on the ground and certainly off it, but on his day...a matchwinner.

It is very good to see our club values good character and integrity.

Its a bit of a mixed message though if he was still playing ? NDP but still plays ?

Definitely has been spoken about. A good mate of his reckons he isn’t really enjoying SANFL anymore. Probably wants to get away from Cotton lol

From afar it did look like he let himself go this season playing at least several kgs overweight. And it showed in his performance.

To be fair, his last two seasons were brilliant and probably driven by a desire to win a premiership with Norwood and to get back into the AFL. With the former having been achieved the latter not eventuating it would be hard to keep the motivation up.

South Adelaide has officially announced it has parted ways with Abe Davis saying that he was exploring other options and was not willing to commit to South.
