I reckon it was Michael Handby.

I’ll try joining some dots - Camporeale looking for work, Roosters looking for a coach....

Busted his nuts for the jumper, not the most talented but gave everything he had. Should be proud of what he's achieved. Kudos lad.

Adrian Tropiano has gone back to WA. Big gap to fill for North.

Two big holes to fill for North. Both guns, Max was the “heart and soul” type all clubs would love to have over such a lengthy period.

News from Centrals BandF is that most players remaining for next season including Goodrem and Jenner (who finished 6th in the count).
Jydon Neagle and Brodie Mahoney only confirmed OUTS.
Troy Menzel has signed to go again.
Justin Hoskin did receive an offer from Norwood but is remaining with the Dogs.
Now for some recruits to help out the good bunch of kids coming through.
Sam Milne to return after 12 months overseas.

North or West for mine.

If true, then this is poor by the eagles. He is exactly the type of player that the eagles lack so its strange why they haven't been in his ear from the moment he was delisted from the Power about returning to the club.

I hope the money we paid Lonegan (the player) to get him to the club hasn't drained the ability for us to make a decent offer to players like Pudney.

Can assure you the Eagles have been in Pudney's ear for quite sometime, were hopeful of getting him back.

I think he will now be back at the Eagles.

I don't think he went, could be wrong though.

Roy didn't attend the Best and Fairest Dinner. A tribute was played on the big screen.

Very emotional and inspiring speech by Luke Habel in relation to next season and what is required by everyone to be successful. Awesome! Good vibes from the players especially Troy Menzel and Kyle Jenner.

Is there a hint all wasn’t quite as well with Lairdy departure than it seemed from the outside

No, I don't think so. Roy was spoken about by quite a few in quite glowing terms. Jeff Brown mentioned something about the night being a week later than usual and this may have been a factor in Roy not attending. And as Browny also said Roy Laird was never about Roy Laird. It may have been simply Roy not wanting a fuss to be made about him.

The rumour that was in this thread was mentioned to Hosko who said an offer had been made to him but he turned it down.

Yeah right. Not the same story I get from my club sources. Not that it really matters either way. He’s always been a good footballer and one id certainly be happy to have, but don’t think it was ever going to happen.
