Good replacement for Josh Koster.

Was a young junior at the Eagles.
Lived in Eagles zone, could have played for Eagles under father son rule also.
Went to school with a lot of young Glenelg players so chose to go to Glenelg to keep playing with mates.
Think there was the set transfer fee for juniors that was paid.

Hahaha, wrong league I'm talking about the SanFULL

I hate that term, it is still S.A.N.F.L. to me.

Magarey Medallist Luke Partington signs a 3 year contract at The Bay. He will be joined by ruckman Jack Hannath (Centrals/Freo).
Also, Glenelg juniors returning to the club are Billy Stretch (Melbourne), Matt Allen (West Coast), Curtis McCarthy (Geelong) & Jackson Edwards (Werribee).

It is good when your ex players come back to their original SANFL club.

Jake Veide has signed with East Perth in the WAFL.

It's also a great thing they are all playing for free as well so there are no salary cap issues.

I hate the SANFULL name too. Sounds too much like afl marketing bullshit. Had enough of that already.

just call the AFL the AYEFULL, they'll get the hint.

Great signings but when you look at our loses we should have plenty of money left in the salary cap and a few more key players to replace hopefully.

Too "anti AFL", ol' boy. We need to keep up with the times, remember. ;)

Seriously though, FWIW, it's perhaps a bit unfair to point the finger at the ivory Tower on this one. I'm pretty sure booze merchant Jake and company don't need much advice with "marketing bullshit".

Anyway, a gone off topic, so sorry folks. Play on.

A premiership can do wonders for clubs in regard to former players, IMHO.

Some sound player management from this point and your boys could be a force for a few years yet.

South Adelaide have signed Tom Highmore, 194cm versatile defender from the ACT.

One of two that we really wanted.

"A well-deserved first ever selection in the NEAFL Team of the Year in Canberra defender Tom Highmore. A rising star for a number of years, Highmore earned his place among the competition’s elite this year where his marking prowess and ball-winning ability were on show. Highmore was ranked third in the competition for intercepts and second for marks, and was named in his side’s best 10 times whilst averaging 24 disposals, nine marks, and five rebound 50s per game."

Not sure if North (or anyone) were keen on Aaron Young but he has signed with Aspley in the NEAFL. Only 26, still has a lot of footy in him.

One of those players who I felt had more to offer than he delivered. Had some explosive pace, good kick for goal, tackled hard, disappointed for him that he never made it at AFL level.

I always thought he tried his hardest, often when the team was down.

Agreed. He would have a big impact in this comp. The KNEEFULL must pay some good coin.
