Norwood FC webpage has trial against WA on Friday 13 March @ Coopers starting 7.30pm and trial against CD on Saturday 21 March @ Elizabeth starting 2.10pm

Surely it would be great to see a few of these SANFL trial matches taking place in regional SA?

Centrals in the Barossa, Sturt in the Hills/Murraylands and South Adelaide on the South Coast wouldn't be too difficult?!

You would have to get an opposition that is willing to travel and I don't think any club would.

You also want to use your own facilities if possible as it significantly lowers the cost.

Ovals would be the problem with cricket still being played on them in The Barossa region and I imagine in most other country areas as well

Ovals would be the problem with cricket still being played on them in The Barossa region and I imagine in most other country areas as well

Pretty sure Sturt have used Cornerstone College oval in Mt Barker before. Not used at all for cricket, and a good playing surface, at least by the look of it.
