Anybody have the Financial results for the clubs. Have heard a few have made profits again which is great .

Best result in living memory at GFC...

Financial Summary for the 31 October 2019 Financial Statements:
The Consolidated Statutory Net Profit for the year ended 31 October 2019 for the Glenelg
Footballers’ Club (Venue) and the Glenelg Football Club (Football) was $447,050. The prime factors
were that of an improved Licensed Club result and the benefits across both Clubs for winning the
2019 SANFL Premiership. It is clearly the best consolidated outcome in recent years.

Yes I should have said that . Profit or not excluding the SANFL distribution and current debt.

Still carrying a lot of debt I hear and owing the Council a bit ?

Out of trouble though which is the main thing.

South recorded a surplus of 125k from memory .

Premiership or not that is a tidy surplus.

I looked at them a couple of years ago and there was some very “interesting” accounting
I haven’t had reason to go through them since but maybe I will.

Deceptive as North got rid of another 120k debt.
Profit and loss statements mean stuff all these days unless you look a bit deeper.

It was a huge hole, now its just a big hole and still got plenty for work to get out of it, but have at least put some long term plans to achieve this
