Calling all Eagles supporters!!!

Postby eaglehaslanded » Tue Oct 03, 2006 9:06 pm

I'm calling on all Eagles supporters to come out in force on Sunday and show your true colours and support our great club hopefuly to a GF win. We need as many people there sunday as possible, maybe I'm an extreme optimist but I beleive in my heart that we can win this game. Anyone interested, I'd be happy to see you with all your colours down behind the southern goals. Also for anyone interested the Grand Final banner will be done this Thursday evening 5th October from around 6pm upstairs at the Eagles club. The more the merrier and I hope to see a few new faces. If anyone in interested you can PM me, please no time wasters though. C'mon you Eagles!!!

I just hope for a damn good footy game, and hope to see a crowd befitting the final day. That's why I'm here talking it up. If i can play my part by getting a few more there I would be extremely happy with that. I don't mind a bit of banter so look forward to whatever the day brings. All the best of lick but geeeez I hope we beat you this time.

I'm travelling down from Sydney to hopefully see a doggies win

but I must admit I am bit suprised how quickly the footy public have jumped of the eagles, obviously people are looking at the clubs finals record against the dogs, but can I say something in all honesty, players don't care too much for that, they will be focusing on their 2006 form, not past history

it's the media and footy public that build this monkey, the players will be itching for the contest

my heart says the dogs but my head is not taking the eagles or this game for granted

I'm looking forward to what should be an enthralling game. We've had the wood on you throughout the season with the exception of the 2nd semi. Should be a lot closer and I'm still tipping my boys by 19 pts.

Bugger coming out in 'force', just have someone there!

Will be disappointed if we lose, but will certainly respect the opposition whatever happens.

Calling all Eagles supporters? I would have thought the hundered or so of you would know each other fairly well as you line up at the Shrinks each October for therapy?

Maybe CD can bring out some of the cats and dogs that have been signed as members this year (record year wasn't it?) to boost the numbers?

Why dont they give tickets away to people in the woodville and thebarton area?
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.
