Do Central have many home match ticket holders?
I've got a feeling I won't have to get there early on Saturday.

Highest attendance of the round in our first home game in Round Two.
But I doubt ANYONE at ANY GAME has been turned away in the first two rounds.

Home match ticket holders for Central and season ticket holders for both clubs get priority.

By SANFL Media

Crowds at SANFL venues for Round 5 of the Statewide Super League this weekend will remain limited to 1000 spectators, with SA Health still considering Covid management plans for all SANFL Clubs.

Without approval from SA Health, SANFL venues cannot have more than 1000 spectators under State Government regulations.

All SANFL Clubs have lodged the mandatory management plans with SA Health to allow them to admit more than 1000 spectators at grounds and for attendance to be based on the one person per two square metre density requirement.

SA Health has consulted with some clubs with regards to details in their management plans but have not given an indication of a timeline for approval.

Priority for Round 5 matches this weekend will be given to ticketed Club Members. This includes:

Season (home and away) members
Home match members for home teams Glenelg, Central District, South Adelaide and Sturt
Children (under 18s) only admitted if they hold a paid membership.
Admission for these members again will be on a first in, first serve basis at the gate, with members to have their barcoded membership cards scanned upon entry.

Limited tickets may be available for purchase at the gate, dependent on attendance numbers on the day.

For club members wishing to arrive early at grounds this weekend to ensure admission, gate opening times will be available on the SANFL and SANFL Club websites and Facebook pages.

Spectators are reminded of the importance of practising social distancing and good hygiene when attending games and to stay at home if unwell.

My 2 kids are junior members for North but were not given any sort of bar-coded pass/ticket (as entry is free anyway). How are children proving they are members to get into the games?

Testing my memory but I think the junior membership card was only introduced within the last 2 years. They always had the badges. Since the AFL reserves fiasco the families enthusiasm has waned; the days of excitement when junior membership packages arrived are a distant memory. Funny though that the pet membership proves quite the novelty factor.

Ask Central’s Justin Hoskin what he would like for his 150th game and the answer is simple.

The Bulldogs’ star half-forward is desperate for his side to string together four quarters of consistent football to register its first victory of the Statewide Super League season.

Speaking on SANFL Radio, the 28-year-old noted Central’s ability to score quickly this year had been matched by conceding equally as fast.

Ironing this issue out in his milestone match against North Adelaide at X Convenience Oval on Saturday will be a key focus as Hoskin reflects on his personal achievement

Originally from the Golden Grove Football Club, Hoskin made his Statewide Super League debut for the Port Magpies against Norwood in Round 8 of 2011.

And while the Redlegs blitzed his team on the night he was recognised as Port’s best performer whilst also surviving a big clash with Crows forward Taylor Walker, who was lining up for Norwood.

Initially making his name as a dashing half-back, Hoskin played 44 League games for the Magpies before arriving at Elizabeth in time for the 2014 season.

Central’s No.20 has since gone on to become one of the competition’s most dangerous medium-sized forwards with his ability to create a goal and take a strong contested mark for someone standing 185cm and 81kg.

Selected for the West End State team’s successful trip to Perth last year, the qualified carpenter proved his credentials in the upset victory against the Sandgropers.

Now with 105 games and 143 goals to his record in the red, white and blue, Hoskin is searching for success as a new era is ushered in at the Ponderosa under new coach Jeff Andrews.

Yes, in the same vein as Madonna and Cher. Ambitious, yes, but to be fair it got the selectors' attention! ;)
