3 out of 3 Blueandwhite.

Cotton gone. With a year to go on his contract and all the talk about salary cap I think Norwood need to explain.

Explain what exactly?
Pressure from sponsors, members and players must have finally kicked the board into action.
Good riddance and can’t see too many shedding a tear for the dud

The club had hoped for a seem less exit but his departure has torn the fabric of the club

THE Norwood Football Club and Senior Coach Jarrod Cotton have today mutually agreed to part ways.

Cotton has coached the Norwood Football Club League Team since 2017.

Cotton’s record included fifth in 2017, second in 2018 (minor premiers), fourth in 2019 and fifth in 2020.

Norwood Football Club President, Paul Di Iulio acknowledged the commitment and contribution Jarrod Cotton made during his time at the Norwood Football Club.

“Jarrod has been an outstanding person for our football club over the last four seasons,” Di Iulio said.

“There is no question he gave his heart and soul to the club. His care and commitment to Norwood is a testament to his qualities not only as a coach but as a person.

“We wish Jarrod and his family all the very best and thank him for his service to the Norwood Football Club.”
