We have an out of form South, at Elizabeth,
West at Richmond,
An out of form Sturt at Elizabeth,
Power reserves somewhere,
Norwood at Elizabeth,
Then Crows at Adelaide
and Glenelg at Elizabeth.

With Nietschke back & in great form, I'm sure he'll be back in the A's soon, possibly this weekend!

Will be happy if we win 3 of the next 5; ecstatic if we win 5 of the final 7. The Norwood game will very much depend on what other players the Legs 'poach' over the next three days, like Surman from the Power reserves ;)
Cheers

Dogs' recent record at Richmond hasn't been great.

West have to win one eventually.

Nieschke and Grant would be handy additions into the league side.

If we can get more wins than last year with unearthing some young talent then the season is an obvious tick.

Carpenter Cowham Dudley Tippins Deakin all look handy. I’ve been impressed with Iles in defence and Cooper Dahms has turned his career around playing as a defender imho

The recruits McCormack started the year incredibly well, Beuchner looks better as a key defence but has to play a variety of roles this season and gives his all no matter what. Reeves has struggled to impact games consistently but will get better. Kendall could be a good defender/second ruck. Launer was more than handy before being injured.

We just need to retain as many as possible for next season.

Not sure Harry will be back in league this week, but Hosko will, so certainly, along with Nietschke, two excellent additions.

At the expense of who, though?

Like for like, Nietschke would replace Deakin, who looks a likely type and can probably play that 3rd tall defender role better than Nietschke.

Not sure Harry is playing any better, or could offer any more, than the like for like players already in the side.

Interesting week at the selection table coming up for the Dogs, but some depth returning, despite ressies ladder position.

Bugger, a close one we should have won but things are still looking a lot better now,
hopefully we can knock off the Power reserves this weekend!

You'll be disappointed if you're waiting for Central to Rick up at the Bay this week Stampy.
Central are definitely playing the Power reserves.

I think he's inferring that we'll get another win, when we play Genelg.

If you look at Gazza's post, he says they still get to play Glenelg at Elizabeth - which is false as we have already played there this year. Hence they play us at the Bay.

Hope im wrong but it looks like we will finish with 4 wins again this season ,same as last.
Norwood are flying ,Adelaide might be a chance depending on how many AFL players they have and doubt we would beat Glenelg at Glenelg.
So for some improvement we have shown it is not going to improve our win/loss record .
I guess i will be a matter next season of who we can retain from this year and if we can pick up a few good recruits in comparison to who we will lose .

Very unlucky against Sturt,
should have beaten South at the start of the year,
up against a stacked side yesterday,
very easily could have been 7 & 8,
we're on the right track,
we just need a genuine ruckman.
