Is that a NO in regards to us still recruiting.
Are any players like Linke, Cowham or Carpenter returning?
Another tall fwd,or a skillful mid would be nice.
We lack left footers in our squad,Chisholm is the only one but not a running type mid.
Yes,I know Thomas and Kendall are leftys but not run and carry players.
Do you think the squad we have is capable of making the GF?

I think a goal kicking midfielder. Someone that consistently gets 25plus efficient disposals. On paper I think we're behind Glenelg, Sturt and maybe Norwood (depending on any late ins and outs). Can't judge Crows and Power yet.

I think our recruits have helped cover the areas you rightly pointed out as weaknesses.
I am particularly excited with Kobe Annand who is that skilled mid we need to connect with our ball getters. Another who can fit that role is Ethan East who will be a virtual recruit... we forget how good he is.
Max Monaghan is another who might surprise punters with how good he is if he can stay out of the medicos room.
Mihail L is another virtual recruit for 2025.
Linke was the one of the 3 you mention who was definitely looking at returning.
With just the 3 (Fish, Munn and Jezza) outs from our best 22 and several ins who would make our best 22, I am confident we would make top 3 again.

Kobe Annand is a ruckman,so still need that skilled mid.
Monaghan could be that player if he stays healthy.

Yup, wrong one... Zach Adams is the mid who played for the Tassie State side.

Yup agree we are still behind Glenelg, Sturt and Norwood.
Might be tougher to make the top 5 with what Port and the crows have recruited so far.

I will tell you what happened .They posted a photo of a group of Port players that included Tom Cochrane in it.
I asked why a photo of Port was on the site as we shouldnt care ,I didnt notice Tom i just saw Port .
Then i got accused of disrepecting our players which made me see red and i told them
Dont tell me i have no respect for our players or club and when i went to respond thats when i got blocked .
Again at no stage did i swear or abuse them

That's ridiculous, it's overkill with all the AFL stories even if they are ex players.
Unfortunately our club hasn't recruited much so far,so nothing to show on BB.

Interesting message to all supporters from the CEO, in respect to the concessions handed to the interlopers.

The last time I wrote to our members was to lay out the new recruiting regulations provided by SANFL to PAFC and AFC. Let’s say the response back to this CEO wasn’t too flattering, but in this job, one of the pre-requisites is having thick skin!
I’ve always thought providing as much information to members was very important, even if it was news that would be controversial or potentially not supported by our members.
Being on the large working group for that process was interesting, and for those who felt like I’d abandoned them, no I didn’t support the concessions handed to the AFL Clubs,
our club’s stance was a long way removed from the final concessions offered.
But, enough of that, we move on and get going again for 2025!

Good luck to Duds, a bit surprised though.
The best players in the comp play at Sturt and Glenelg, so why no interest with them.
Lowe from Norwood also training with Freo.
This AFL shit makes it tough to build for the SANFL season.
Hoping we are still active with recruiting.

If Dudley does get picked up by Freo we have plenty of coverage with Gasper, East, Callinian and Anzac Lochowiak. I think Centrals have done quite well with their recruiting and have covered players that have left. I'm sure we will bring in players if we fill it will help the team but I wouldn't have thought we need to bring in a whole lot more. There's a lot of natural progression to happen with our squad
